Got To Be NC members are invited to be a part of our “Got To Be NC” exhibit tent at the NC State Fair on October 14-24, 2021. The “Got To Be NC” exhibit tent is located in front of the Scott Building. It highlights products grown and manufactured in NC as well as our marketing services. More than 1,100,000 people attend the fair every year.

Please note: Our registration process has changed, we have transitioned to an online application process.  Once application has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your application.  Notification of acceptance will be delivered via email after August 25th.  If approved you will receive an email with a link to submit your payment.  The payment link is time sensitive.  You must submit payment within 48 hours to secure your vendor space. Payments must be submitted via debit/credit card.  Refunds will not be issued unless event is cancelled by NCDA.

You will be required to upload a current Certificate of Liability Insurance at the time of application. Applications will not be considered without certificates uploaded.  Minimum requirements are $1,000,000 Combined Single Limit for each occurrence. An insurance company licensed to do business in North Carolina must issue the certificate. NCDA&CS and NC State Fair must be named as certificate holder and additional insured. The effective dates of the certificate must cover the duration of the fair, October 14 – 24, 2021. The certificate holder’s address must be listed as 1025 Blue Ridge Rd, Raleigh NC 27607. The Got To Be NC Exhibit Tent is a juried exhibit. Through our review process, we hope to offer a variety of products to our exhibit patrons. Application does not guarantee acceptance.

Our Got to Be NC tent will have a limited number of booths for companies to show, sample, and sell their products. New this year: we will be offering up to four double booths in the exhibit tent. We will also offer the option to purchase single booths for double shifts. Double booths/double shifts and single booths/double shifts will require a commitment of the duration of the fair, October 14-24, and must be staffed from the time the exhibit opens until closing each day. Only products grown/manufactured in NC may be shown, sampled, and sold in this space. Booth spaces may not be shared.

Early application is recommended. Booth space may sell out before the deadline of August 24, 2021. Applications received after the August 24 deadline will be subject to a 30% increase in booth fee.  After the August 24th deadline, prospective exhibitors must contact Sherry Barefoot  919-707-3154 or sherry.barefoot@ncagr.gov for a printable application.

Additional Information

Beer, wine and spirit vendors are not eligible for space in the Got To Be NC tent.

No CBD or products containing CBD may be shown, sampled or sold.

All exhibitors are required to have a Certificate of Liability Insurance (minimum coverage of $1,000,000) naming NCDA&CS and NC State Fair as additional insured. (Example of a certificate is attached.)

All exhibitors should be prepared to verify the inspection of their production site by either NCDA&CS or your local health department.
