Got to Be NC members are invited to be a part of our “Got to Be NC” Pavilion inside the Dorton Arena at the NC State Fair on October 13-23, 2022.  The pavilion will highlight products grown and manufactured in NC as well as our marketing services. More than 1,100,000 people attend the fair every year.

Please note: Our registration process has changed.  We have transitioned to an online application process.  Once application has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your application.  Notification of acceptance will be delivered via email by August 31st.  If approved, you will receive an email with a link to submit your payment.  The payment link is time sensitive.  It is requested that you submit payment within 48 hours to secure your vendor space. SPACES ARE NOT SECURED UNTIL PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE. – NO EXCEPTIONS. Payments must be submitted via debit/credit card.  Refunds will not be issued unless this event is cancelled by NCDA&CS.

You will be required to upload a current Certificate of Liability Insurance at the time of application. Incomplete applications and applications without certificates uploaded will not be considered.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  Minimum requirements are $1,000,000 Combined Single Limit for each occurrence. An insurance company licensed to do business in North Carolina must issue the certificate. NCDA&CS and NC State Fair must be named as certificate holder and additional insured.  MAKE SURE THAT YOUR INSURANCE BROKER GETS THIS CORRECT TO ELIMINATE A DELAY IN SECURING YOUR BOOTH SPACE (Refer to the example provided.). The effective dates of the certificate must cover the duration of the fair, October 13 – 23, 2022. The Got to Be NC Pavilion is a juried exhibit. Through our review process, we hope to offer a variety of products to our exhibit patrons.  Application does not guarantee acceptance.

The Got to Be NC Pavilion will offer Got to Be NC member companies the opportunity to show, sample, and sell their products. Booth options include:  Single Booth/One Shift, Single Booth/Double Shift, Double Booth/Double Shift. Double booths/double shifts and single booths/double shifts will require a commitment of the duration of the fair, October 13-23, and must be staffed from the time the exhibit opens until closing each day. Only products grown/manufactured in NC may be shown, sampled, and sold in this space. Booth spaces may not be shared.

Early application is recommended. Booth space may sell out before the deadline of August 15, 2022. Applications will not be accepted  after August 15th.

Additional Information

Beer and spirit vendors are not eligible for space in the Got to Be NC Pavilion.

Applicants must be a member of the Got to Be NC marketing program and be listed in the Got to Be NC Find Local directory.

All exhibitors are required to have a Certificate of Liability Insurance (minimum coverage of $1,000,000) naming NCDA&CS and NC State Fair as additional insured. (Click for example of certificate.)

All exhibitors must include a valid NC Sales & Use Tax Number on their application.

All exhibitors should be prepared to verify the inspection of their production site by either NCDA&CS or your local health department.
