Balsamic Tomato Breakfast Glaze

It is a southern tradition to have a fresh slice of tomato with breakfast.  This recipe just adds a little something special.  The glaze is also delicious on apples.

Ingredients

North Carolina Tomato
6
slices of bacon, cooked
1/4
cup balsamic vinegar
1
Tablespoon honey
2
Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Directions

Mix together the vinegar, honey and olive oil until well blended.

Slice your tomato and add salt and pepper.

Crumble bacon on top.

Drizzle the tomato with the glaze.
