Blueberry Smoothie

Smoothies are a perfect breakfast choice during warmer weather and for those mornings you need to eat while on the go.  For a thicker consistency, add some ice or you fresh NC blueberries that you have frozen.

Ingredients

pint fresh NC Blueberries or 2 cups frozen blueberries, slightly thawed
1
cup pineapple juice, orange and strawberry juice blend or pineapple-orange juice
1
(8 oz.) low fat vanilla yogurt
2
teaspoons sugar (optional)

Directions

In a blender, combine blueberries, juice, yogurt and sugar.  Blend until smooth, about 1 minute.  Serve immediately.
