Bok choy sauté

A simple Asian side dish that can go with any meal. The Sriracha can be hot so just use as much as you would like in this dish.

Ingredients

tbsp Hoisin sauce

tbsp rice vinegar
1
tbsp honey
2
tbsp sesame oil
1
tbsp water
1
tbsp Sriracha (use as much or as little as you like)
1
tbsp olive oil
1
bok choy, root end cut off and rough chopped
1
1 inch pieces of fresh ginger peel and finely chop
2
cloves garlic, peel and rough chop
Salt and pepper

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients. Then add as much or as little Sriracha as you would prefer.

Step 2

In a medium pan, add the oil and heat to medium-high. Add the bok choy, ginger and garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Cook stirring frequently, 2 to 3 minutes, or until soft and fragrant.

Step 3

Add the sauce and cook, stirring frequently for 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until combined.
