Corn Pudding
Now I know we all have a corn pudding recipe similar to this one from our mother’s or grandmothers but this one uses fresh corn which is perfect for summer. This dish isn’t just for the holidays anymore!

Cut the kernels from the cob into a large bowl yielding approximately 6 cups. Scrape milk and remaining pulp from cobs as well into the bowl, and then discard.
In a small bowl, combine sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, whipping cream, and butter. Gradually add sugar mixture into egg mixture, whisking until smooth; stir in corn. Pour into a lightly greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes or until set. Let stand 5 minutes.
