Mary Clare Sanders’ Easy Peach Pie

This recipe was given to me by my dear friend Clare Turner. We have made a few of her recipes on Local Dish. She has a southern touch in the kitchen!

Ingredients

Layers:

to 7 fresh peaches, peeled and sliced

slices of white bread remove the crust and cut into strips
Filling:
1
cup of sugar
1
Tablespoon flour
1
beaten egg
1
stick of melted butter

Directions

Layer peaches on the bottom of an 8 x 8 baking dish.

Place strips of bread on top of the peaches in the dish.

Pour filling over the peaches and bread.

Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
