Pot Roast in the Crock Pot

I recommend the crock pot liners for easy clean up.  Also, in the winter, I like to add diced or stewed tomatoes and red wine.

Cook Time: Prep Time: 20 minutes; Total Time: 20 minutes; Cook on high for 6 hours or on low for 10 hours

Ingredients

3
pound boneless beef roast
3
russet potatoes, peeled and diced
2
large carrots, sliced
1
large onion, sliced or diced
1
small pkg. sliced mushrooms
1/2
cup water or beef broth
1/4
cup Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper

Directions

Heat a frying pan to med.-high heat and spray with Pam or coat with Olive Oil.

Salt and Pepper the roast.  Then brown on all sides.

Place the vegetables in the bottom of your crock pot and season with salt and pepper.

Then place the meat on top of the vegetables.

Pour the liquids over the meat and vegetables.

Cook on high for 6 hours or on low for 10 hours.
