In the rural small town of Rutherfordton, two families have embarked on an amazing journey to preserve and promote agriculture in beautiful Western North Carolina. The Beam and Green families are working together, with a focus on beef & dairy, to support the local agricultural industry in the Carolinas and throughout the southeast. Their families promise to deliver wholesome and high-quality products, provide excellent service, and work tirelessly to preserve the small family farm community. By prioritizing agriculture and small-scale farming, their goal is to ensure the longevity of the family farm for future generations. At Big Bottom Milk Company, their top commitment is to the quality of their milk. The dairy farm is home to 70 cows that produce A2A2 milk. This means that their cows produce milk with a 100% beta-casein protein, which studies have shown to be easier for the stomach to digest, reducing the likelihood of any discomfort.
