J & J Martin Produce LLC
J & J Martin Farm Produce sells vegetables directly to customers at our roadside farm stand, wholesale to local supermarkets and restaurants, delivered to our Community Supported Agriculture customers, and at our local farmers market. Our customers are welcomed to the farm so they can see where and how their food is grown. One thing that makes J&J Martin Farm Produce stand out from the rest is that all of our produce is locally grown, picked at peak freshness and sold to the customer within 24-hours of picking. We do not buy from large retailers to repackage; everything is picked fresh and sold direct to consumer from farm site located at the farm stand.

In 1883, our great grandfather, Harry Martin, purchased the land that we own and operate today. After escaping slavery, Harry joined the 135th United States Colored Troops from 1864 to 1865. Upon returning to the area of his enslavement he worked the land as a sharecropper and was eventually able to purchase some of that land. He continued to amass land until 1912 and passed that down through the generations who expanded it to what we know today. We are now the fourth generation to work the land as a continuation of his legacy. J & J Martin Farm Produce sells vegetables directly to customers at our roadside farm stand, wholesale to local supermarkets and restaurants, delivered to our Community Supported Agriculture customers, and at our local farmers market. We intend to include our added products into these offerings. We have a team of social media marketers that create a strong web presence. We have Instagram, a Facebook page and a website that encompasses our online portfolio. We have signs at the Farmers Market and the roadside farm stand. Other branded advertisements include business cards and employee T-shirts. Word of mouth is key to our business. We are planning to use customized clothing including: personalized masks, hats, and T-shirts. Our customers are welcomed to the farm so they can see where and how their food is grown.
