Lilley Homeplace Pines is a small choose-and-cut Christmas tree farm in Gates County. Paige and Dylan started the farm with their two daughters, Annabelle and Clara in 2021. The Lilley homeplace was built by Dylan’s great-great-grandfather in the late 1800s and their land has been a row crop farm in his family for seven generations. Paige and Dylan remodeled and moved into the homeplace after they got married, and that’s when they planted their first 500 white pine seedlings. While Christmas trees are new to the farm, their appreciation of agriculture is not. This farm combines a love for agriculture, history, and family.
