Agritourism

Lockwood Farms is a first-generation, family-owned farm built from the ground up with a passion for agriculture, community, and knowing where your food comes from. What started small has grown into a diverse working farm with dairy cows, beef cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, and more, along with their on-farm store featuring products raised and made both on the farm and by other local North Carolina families.
What makes Lockwood Farms special is that they aren't simply creating a farm attraction, they invite visitors into the everyday life of a real working farm. Depending on the season, guests may meet and interact with farm animals, watch the cows move to fresh pasture, visit animals, enjoy family-friendly activities and special events, shop locally raised meats and farm products, or simply slow down and experience farm life.
As first-generation farmers, they love sharing not only the fun side of agriculture, but also the work, dedication, and story behind the food on the table. Their goal is for families to leave with great memories, a stronger connection to agriculture, and a better understanding of where their food comes from.
