Robert Rust Foods

The story of Robert Rust Foods is 75 years in the making. In 1947, Robert (Bob) Rust bought a Cushman scooter to sell hotdogs in Shelby, NC. In 2022, Robert's grandson, Adrian Smith, restored the scooter, founded Robert Rust Foods, and began making burritos and bowls, with lots of hands-on love, in Winston-Salem.They still sell hot food out of the scooter at farmers markets, breweries and other events, but their products can also be found in grocery stores across North Carolina. Their burritos are cooked, rolled and wrapped by people, not machines. Each ingredient is carefully selected for flavor and texture. The burritos and bowls feature big, chunky ingredients and attentive care throughout the entire process. You can taste the difference.
