The Moore family invites you to visit the Rock of Ages Winery & Vineyard in the Hurdle Mills community in southwestern Person County-just a short drive from Roxboro, the Triangle or the Triad. Enjoy wine tastings, tours, special events, concerts or just a leisurely afternoon overlooking our vineyard and lake.

Tastings are broken down into 4 categories because of offering 40 different wines. Most people only enjoy tasting the categories of wine they like. For instance, most people that drink dry red or dry white wines do not typically like sweet wine. Occasionally there is that person that likes all kinds of wine and then 3 or 4 wines are chosen from each category.
