Sacred Ground Forest Farm
Sacred Ground Forest Farm is a community-oriented forest farm centered around stewardship and deep respect for the land. This locally adapted production farm harmoniously blends into and enhances the natural environment while providing a diverse range of crops and farm products, many of which are native, wild harvested, and/or wild cultivated.
A key tenet of Sacred Ground’s approach is to use and develop practical and economical strategies for conscientiously reclaiming native land from invasive weeds while also building healthy soils and ecosystems that support diverse agricultural enterprises and advance local community resilience.
Likewise, Sacred Ground partners with local research and education affiliates toward building capacity for related endeavors through whole systems research, demonstration, and educational efforts that address a broad range of challenges to community resilience.
