Starrlight Mead

Starrlight Mead is a winery that makes wine, or mead, from honey instead of grapes that ranges from dry to sweet. They primarily use local NC honey. Join the winery in Pittsboro, NC for a tasting, behind-the-scenes tour, or class on how to make your own mead. Save the date with friends for special events, like the renaissance fair “Mead Fest” celebration in September. We are the largest Mead Hall in NC. We are also part of the Chatham Beverage District at The Plant in Pittsboro which boasts mead, cider, beer, wine and distilled products. We produce a unique product that is growing in popularity. We've been in business for 13 years in September.
