Sun Raised Foods

Sun Raised Foods grew out of Sun Raised Farms, a solar farm business. Solar farms provide the ideal pasture area for lambs, and the farms need vegetation maintenance. Founded in 2017 to provide a market where sheep farmers could sell their animals, today Sun Raised Foods markets their award-winning lamb salami, charcuterie and cuts through farm-to-table dinners, farmers markets, restaurants and online. In 2022, Sun Raised Foods was awarded the “Made in NC” food award by Our State Magazine for its artisan lamb salami.
