TK Family Farm LLC
TK Family Farm is a first generation farm in Polk Co. NC. We grow 9 different varieties of apples and they are listed in order of ripening starting in August; Gala, Fuji, Golden Delicious, Ludacrisp, Sweet Zinger, Tigress, Evercrisp, Granny Smith, Pink Lady.Our apples can be found at the following farmers markets; Hub City (Spartanburg, SC), Landrum (Landrum, SC), and Rutherford Co. (Rutherfordton NC). We have a farm stand that is self serve and is open from 7:30am till sunset when in season (August-January). We encourage folks to stop by the stand and if there is something you don't see then please contact us.

We have Polk County's only high density orchard. This system is a much different orchard than the traditional orchard many folks normally see. We have approximately 1,200 trees per acre with trees spaced in 3x12 configuration. All of the orchard is trellised much like that of a vineyard. This new system is much more scientific approach to growing apples compared to traditional orchards and visitors will take away a better understanding of how apple production has evolved. Visitors will also be able to tour our small packing facility to see how fruit is handled post harvest.Business availability: Seasonal
