Okfuskee Farm is a diversified agroforestry operation providing a range of products and services. Our primary enterprise is grass-fed lamb and Katahdin sheep breeding stock. We also provide a mix of various perennial and annual crops seasonally available throughout the year (e.g., asparagus, pears, blackberries, chickasaw plums, sunchokes, and mixed produce). Our home farm includes a unique off-grid cabin rental available through VRBO, and we also provide consulting services in farm/land development, broad-acre permaculture, and regenerative grazing systems.

Agritourism
Our off-grid guest cabin is open to the public for short-term rental via VRBO. The rental includes Private, off-grid retreat at the back of a unique, 20-acre permaculture farm. Guest space includes a 16’x20’ autoclave concrete bedroom and bath house with radiant floor heating, queen bed, shower, bathtub, and dry toilet (custom-made wooden toilet w/ sawdust bucket system), a 12'x12' cedar cabin with lofted queen bed and large covered deck, and attached enclosed kitchen with small fridge, gas stove top, and large toaster oven. All electricity is provided by a PV solar array and battery bank. This a perfect environment for a quiet escape, writer's retreat, meditation weekend, technology unplug, or opportunity to see regenerative farming in Piedmont NC.Our farm also hosts tours and workshops by appointment.
