The NC Specialty Foods Association’s Artisan Food Fairs have become popular food and drink events at three of the State-owned farmers markets across North Carolina. The markets include the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market in Charlotte, the State Farmers Market in Raleigh and the Robert G. Shaw Piedmont Triad Market in Greensboro.
In 2018, the NC Specialty Foods Association began hosting the Artisan Food Fairs as an opportunity for its members, Got To Be NC members and other local culinary entrepreneurs to showcase the best of local food and drink as guest vendors at farmers markets. To heighten brand awareness and generate new business, vendors sample and sell their uniquely crafted food and drink products to market patrons.
Beginning in the spring and through the early part of fall, local food and drink producers from across the state come together for these one day, not-to-be-missed food and drink shopping experiences. The North Carolina Specialty Foods Association represents small family owned culinary entrepreneurs that are local to North Carolina.
