Event Description

APPLICATION DEADLINE – Friday, December 2, 2022

FLAVORS OF CAROLINA has proven itself to be the most convenient and cost-effective way to reach a diverse group of buyers.  This is your chance to get one-on-one time with retailers, distributors and food service professionals. Join us Tuesday, February 28, 2023 in Concord for this unique reception designed to help bring awareness to your products and boost your sales.

What is Flavors of Carolina?
Flavors of Carolina is a business-to-business upscale trade show event sponsored by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services (NCDA&CS) where North Carolina products are proudly on display. As an exhibitor, this is your opportunity to showcase your products and be discovered by retailers, distributors, restaurants, etc.  Be prepared to provide samples, discuss pricing and ask the buyers how you can get your products into their stores or on their restaurant’s menu. The show is an invite only and not open to the public. This is not a selling or order taking show.

As an exhibitor, you will:

  • Meet in-person with a diverse group of buyers
  • Highlight new products and/or build brand awareness
  • Network with industry peers
  • Strengthen relationships with existing buyers and distributors
  • Build new business connections

Make plans to stay for two days to take full advantage of our additional business development opportunities!

On Wednesday, March 1st, NCDA&CS will host a Grower/Buyer Exchange. This will be an opportunity for growers and manufacturers to meet in pre-scheduled short sessions. We will announce which retailers and foodservice wholesale distributor(s) will be participating soon. Sessions will be limited to companies, who are not currently doing business with these retailers or foodservice distributor(s). Categories of interest are still under review. The day will be structured in 15-minute, one-on-one sessions beginning at 8:00 AM and ending at 4:00 PM.  Registration will be limited to one session with each retailer/wholesaler represented. The Sign Up Genius platform will be used to officially register and secure your time slot. Look for more details and link to register soon.

Who is invited?
Top officials and buyers from individual restaurants to foodservice distributors to major grocery chains and specialty stores will attend. This is an invite only and not open to the public.
