Seafood Salad

Serve this fresh and cold seafood salad on a bed of lettuce or with crackers. You can use any combination of seafood or fish.

NC Ingredients: Shrimp, Crabmeat, Green Pepper, Dill, Parsley, Bacon

Ingredients

Seafood Pasta Sauce:
1/2
cup mayo
1/4
cup creole mustard
1/2
tsp. fresh horseradish
1
tsp. Worcestershire
Juice of 1 lemon
Combine and set aside
Seafood Pasta:
2
cups pasta
1
cup small-medium sized shrimp
1
cup crabmeat
1/4
cup onion, diced fine
1
T dill, chopped
1
T parsley, chopped
1/4
cup peas, thawed
4
slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/4
cup sliced carrots

Directions

Cook pasta al dente according to package directions. Rinse under cool water until cool and drained.

Devein the shrimp and rinse. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Optional: season water or cooked shrimp with Old Bay seasoning. Drop shrimp into water and boil 3-5 minutes or until shrimp are pink throughout. Remove, rinse under cool water until cool and drained.

Combine seafood pasta ingredients. Then pour seafood pasta sauce over the pasta and stir until well combined. Chill for several hours before serving.
