Since 1757, Atkinson Milling Company has been making stone ground corn meal products in Johnston County. What started as a small mill alongside the Little River over 250 years ago is now a popular regional brand. Along with corn meal, Atkinson's most popular products are it's mixes that are made on sight. Atkinson's Hushpuppy Mixes, Seafood Breaders, Chicken Breaders, Biscuit Mix and Stone Ground Grits are just a few of the many products that have made Atkinson's a brand loyal to thousands of home cooks and restaurants.
