We have been making our signature sauce since 1979. Dickie grew up with his Mom & Dad using their sauce on their well known BBQ that they cooked all over Chatham County. Over our years together we made our changes to the recipe using quality ingredients and our Mountain Sauce was born. Because of its popularity and encouragement from family and friends, in 2004 we created our business Hickory Mountain Sauces and began offering our sauce for sale. This is our "ALL AROUND SAUCE" because it is more than a BBQ sauce. Our Mountain Sauce works great as a dip, served on vegetables and mixed in or on all meats and seafood. It has the right amount of kick to make it interesting and just enough sweet to calm the kick. It is NC's best kept secret since moonshine!
