James T. King's Original Barbecue Sauce, LLC

On September 22, 1967 James T. King opened King’s Barbeque in Greensboro, NC serving barbeque spare-ribs prepared with a secret sauce recipe passed on to him by his uncle J.G. Harvey. From the 1970’s to about 1994 King’s Barbeque was known to have the “Best Ribs” in town” as evidenced by newspaper and magazine recognition. Two times King’s Barbeque was awarded a Congressional Barbeque Award in barbeque competition between Barbeque restaurants chosen by North Carolina and Texas congressmen from their representative states. James T. King, Sr. died in 1992 and the restaurant later closed. James T. King’s family has the secret sauce recipe and a lifetime of barbeque experience having learned from their father and now offers the sauce to you. The mission of the King Family is to continue producing this sauce for many generations to come.
