Little Cedar Farm
Little Cedar Farm produces high quality, great tasting and flavorful lamb. Lambs are from dorpers which is a hair breed. They have little to no lanolin in the meat unlike wool breeds have. As a result no gamey taste! Instead a very mild taste close to beef.
They produce beautiful racks up to 2 1/2 lbs, legs with and without bone (up to 8lbs and 6 lbs), loin chops, kabobs, stew meat, shanks, ground, organs meat and soup bones.
Little Cedar Farm has dedicated themselves to building a thriving, sustainable operation in Caswell County.
They are more than just a farm; they are an active part of the local and national agricultural community. Little Cedar Farm sponsors local 4-H shows, and in doing so, supports the next generation of farmers. The farm is part of the North Carolina Sheep Association, as well as the National American Dorper Sheep Breeders Society, reflecting a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. Little Cedar Farm is on a continual journey of learning and sharing, and welcome visitors who are interested in learning more about what they do.
