Keeper's Cut Meadery
Keeper's Cut Meadery is a family-owned business making traditional and flavored mead from our production facility, tasting room, and event space in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We are open to the public Wednesday-Sunday in the Depot Historic District of downtown Marion, and feature a tasting bar with indoor seating as well as a dog-friendly patio. In addition to our wine-style and draft meads, we serve mead cocktails, charcuterie and cheese boards, desserts, snacks and soft drinks. You are also welcome to bring in your own food to enjoy here at Keeper's Cut, or order in from a local restaurant. While you are here, be sure to try some honey made by the Keeper’s Cut bees, or take along a box of our family’s gourmet chocolates to pair with your favorite meads. We also offer educational 'Bee to Bottle' tours. We are family-friendly, with a relaxed atmosphere enjoyable for all ages. Older children and adults enjoy connecting over a game of checkers, chess, cards, backgammon, or mancala on the beautiful antique game tables in our Fountain Room. Our 3,200sf Mead Hall is available for weddings, receptions, showers, parties, meetings, as an audio and video recording space, and more.
