Keeper's Cut Meadery
Keeper's Cut Meadery is a family-owned business making traditional and flavored mead from our production facility, tasting room, and event space in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Open to the public Wed. - Sun. in the Depot Historic District of downtown Marion, and feature a tasting bar with indoor seating as well as a dog-friendly patio. In addition to our wine-style and draft meads, mead cocktails, charcuterie and cheese boards, desserts, snacks and soft drinks are served. You are also welcome to bring in your own food to enjoy at Keeper's Cut, or order in from a local restaurant. Be sure to try honey made by the Keeper’s Cut bees, or take along a box of our family’s gourmet chocolates to pair with your favorite meads.
Educational 'Bee to Bottle' tours are offered.
Keeper's Cut Meadery is family-friendly, with a relaxed atmosphere enjoyable for all ages. Older children and adults enjoy connecting over a game of checkers, chess, cards, backgammon, or mancala on the beautiful antique game tables in the fountain room.
Their 3,200 square feet Mead Hall is available for weddings, receptions, showers, parties, meetings, as an audio and video recording space, and more.
