Out of the Garden Project

Out of the Garden Project is the largest independent provider of food to families in the Piedmont Triad. Our holistic approach to food and programs includes an urban teaching farm where we grow, education and use produce to sell at our Harvest Stand Shoppe at the Piedmont Triad Farmers Market and also to use in some of our canning. We also have a low risk shared-use kitchen where 25 food entrepreneurs make products to sell at area farmers markets. We have a large food reclamation initiative to save food from going to the landfill by repurposing in our free Fresh Mobile Markets, composting and sharing with other critter farmers.
