Pack House Farm

Living in one of the fastest growing areas of North Carolina, we at Pack House Farm believe folks need to have opportunities to connect to the land and learn that food doesn’t just come from a store. By opening up Pack House Farm as a pick-your-own berry patch we want you to make memories, enjoy learning about agriculture, and see where food really comes from. Pack House Farm offers blueberries, blackberries, honey and other farm items during the summer at our farm. Pack House Farm products can also be found at local retailers and markets.

Beth grew up with her hands in the dirt in Piney Creek, N.C. Working on her grandparents’ dairy and burley tobacco farms, she grew to love all things agriculture. She came to Raleigh to attend NC State with every intention of going home to farm – she never made it back up the mountain.Kevin spent hours roaming the family farm and selling produce at local farmers markets with his grandparents. His roots grew deep in the red dirt of Chatham County. After studying business at NC State, he met Beth. On their first date, he told her he would never live any further from Jordan Lake than Turlington Hall at NC State – and he hasn’t.For several years, Beth and Kevin had a dream of turning the field behind his grandparent’s old tobacco pack house into a farm. In 2016 this dream turned to reality by planting a few rows of blueberries, and Pack House Farm was born. After many weekends of hard work, they have expanded to include multiple varieties of blueberries, heritage blackberries, and honey collected on the farm.Living in one of the fastest growing areas of North Carolina, we believe folks need to have opportunities to connect to the land and learn that food doesn’t just come from a store. By opening up Pack House Farm as a pick-your-own berry patch we want you to make memories, enjoy learning about agriculture, and see where food really comes from.Make plans to join us for a few weeks each summer and take home the best berries we can grow.
