Pope Strawberries

Pick-your-own and pre-picked strawberries are available in the spring, from the end of April through May at our 1305 Fayetteville Street Knightdale location. Pre-picked tomatoes, cucumbers, squash and field peas are available in July through September. Pick-your-own field peas are available as well. Pre-picked collards and turnips are available in the fall. Other vegetables are available in season.

Pope Strawberries started in 1982 when David and Renee began growing their first strawberry crop. Renee wanted to stay on the farm with their young children, and growing strawberries was a way to make that happen and provide food to the Knightdale community. Pope Strawberries has been in operation every since, and has increased in size and production since the 1980s.Come out to the country and enjoy the experience of seeing the cows, breathing fresh air, and picking delicious strawberries this spring!
