Know your Beekeeper and Trust your Honey. At Sweet Betsy Farm, we manage our bees with no antibiotics, no herbicides and no pesticides. While this means more work on our part, it's worth it because we eat the honey too. We provide pure, raw local honey straight from the bees directly to you.

Agritourism

We provide free tours of active working beehives with prior appointment. Because our tours are very weather dependent and can be impacted by heat, cold, rain, wind, etc., we are not able to provide tours without prior arrangement. This is a perfect activity for homeschoolers or families of all ages, even down to 3 years old, depending on the child. The tour not only includes an overview of the life cycle of honey bees, an explanation of how beekeepers help to manage bees but also a honey tasting of several varietals of Sweet Betsy Farm honey.
